"The X Factor's" third season premiered Wednesday (Sept. 11) on FOX with two new judges on the panel -- Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child and the lesser-known Paulina Rubio. What did you think of them? For us, the jury is still out. It's not that we didn't like them but they weren't really the focus of the episode. Which is actually nice, because singing competition shows have sometimes gotten way too heavily focused on the judges. They certainly weren't shy about leaping up from their seats when it was warranted, which was nice to see. A standing ovation is wonderful every now and again. Simon was in fine form and it was fun to see a panel that had so many women, since that's never been done on a singing competition show before. So, we're looking forward to more from Kelly and Paulina. There was a funny little bit about Paulina's accent, when she told someone he was "pitchy," but it sounded like "peachy" and everybody started saying it that way for a bit. That was adorable.
